How to Eliminate Stress From Your Life
Dearest hearts, stress is a condition that you impose upon yourself and then try to find an outside event to blame it on. Often you’ll cite all sorts of extenuating circumstances as to why you’re burdened by stress but until you learn to take responsibility for it and take appropriate action to dispel it, you will be plagued by stress and believe that it’s inevitable.
While others seem to gain momentum, you’ll find yourself always needing to add fuel to the fire if you’re to keep going. This is because you’ve aligned yourself with outward conditions that don’t align with your inner compass
Therefore, it is necessary to identify the three primary causes of stress and take appropriate action to alleviate each one. The first cause of stress is “force.” When you are forcing yourself to behave, look or belong to a certain group of people or socioeconomic class you may be imposing an artificial standard upon yourself that you don’t align with. No matter why you’re choosing to act in the way you’re acting, to do the work you’re doing, or to associate with the people you’re associating with, if they’re not in alignment with your highest good, you will always feel at odds or out of place and you’ll be unable to find a sense of belonging. You may feel lonely or isolated and you will most assuredly feel as though you have to keep pushing or forcing to get where you want to go. While others seem to gain momentum, you’ll find yourself always needing to add fuel to the fire if you’re to keep going. This is because you’ve aligned yourself with outward conditions that don’t align with your inner compass. You’ve forced yourself to go for the glitter that is meant for someone else. This misalignment is causing you to feel stressed and overwhelmed.
Not being able to take your time creates mistakes that create stress and the constant stress of rushing to finish, rushing to correct a mistake, and rushing to have a finished product indicates that you’ve stepped out of alignment with your greater good
The second cause of stress is “rushing.” Perhaps you’ve found your point of alignment and you feel in sync with your goals but you’re unable to trust that things will fall into place naturally. Therefore, you begin rushing through your work so you can do more and insure your goal is met. You take on more responsibility, you shorten the deadline and you push yourself beyond your capability because you have to make sure that everything gets done. All of the pressure to perform faster creates stress. Not being able to take your time creates mistakes that create stress and the constant stress of rushing to finish, rushing to correct a mistake, and rushing to have a finished product indicates that you’ve stepped out of alignment with your greater good. Eventually, all of this rushing produces a substandard product and even more stress. Nothing can be gained from rushing even when the rushing is for something for which you are aligned.

The final stressor arises when you begin actively “preventing” that which is here for you now. Just like the previous two stressors, this stress places you out of alignment with your greatest good. Forcing yourself to be something you are not, prevents you from seeing what is. Rushing to a desired outcome prevents you from gaining insight and advice because rushing fosters a blind rush to the finish line even when the finish line is somewhere beyond the edge of a steep cliff. “Preventing” your good from arriving means that you are so focused on what is meant for someone else or so focused on what’s lacking that you fail to acknowledge and take advantage of all that is here for you in this moment. Shutting out what is while you pine for something that is not, prevents you from receiving your good and causes stress.
Give yourself permission to interact with those activities and projects that bring you joy and peace
Although forcing, rushing, and preventing are ways in which stress is created, they are not the only energy products available to you. So let’s look at what you can do instead. In the place of forcing yourself into a predetermined mold, spend time in the energetic state and begin to flow like water. Give yourself permission to interact with those activities and projects that bring you joy and peace. When you’re in alignment with your highest good, you should feel a sense of expansion and rightness. You won’t have to force yourself to feel good, it will happen automatically.
A few minutes spent in contemplation and meditation prior to the start of a project will bring flow to the work and reduce costly mistakes
Just as forcing needs to give way to flow, rushing needs to be channeled into relaxation. Before undertaking any tasks become mentally prepared through visualization and deep breathing. See the project completed perfectly, on time, and without stress. A few minutes spent in contemplation and meditation prior to the start of a project will bring flow to the work and reduce costly mistakes. A relaxed mind and an open heart allow you to receive increased guidance from the Divine Mind.

Knowing you are directed and guided by a force greater than you are helps you to accept the good that’s here for you now. Instead of preventing your success, you’re allowing yourself to receive because you’re in alignment with your highest good and viewing yourself as worthy. There’s no longer any reason to deny yourself, cause yourself stress, or make things difficult for yourself.
You will automatically feel less stress and receive more of that which is in alignment with your highest good
Once you have stopped forcing and have begun flowing, stopped rushing and begun to relax, and stopped preventing and begun allowing you will automatically feel less stress and receive more of that which is in alignment with your highest good.
